Call for Proposals NYSPA's 87th Annual Convention Presented In-Person September 12-14, 2025 at the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs in Saratoga Springs, NY |
New York State of Mind
The 2025 NYSPA Convention aims to bring together experts from both local and broader communities to explore the unique challenges faced by New York’s diverse population. With the state’s diverse geography—ranging from bustling urban centers like New York City to quieter rural areas upstate—this event will focus on key issues impacting health, mental health, and well-being across various communities.
While national issues are currently at the forefront, each state has its own responsibility to its residents. The 2025 Convention promises to address issues of concern for psychologists working and practicing in New York, whether in a rural clinical practice, an urban public school, or as an organizational psychologist working with the myriad of businesses and professionals in our state. We will explore current legislative issues, challenges specific to a particular region, or socioeconomic group, and raise questions about New York's future "state of mind."
We invite you to submit a proposal and contribute your expertise to this important conversation. Together, we can foster solutions that improve the wellness of New York’s systems and communities.
