Many powerful new collaborative change approaches are being used around the world to transform organizations, revitalize communities, and develop human potential.  And methods and practices based on these new approaches are continuing to proliferate.  Sometimes referred to as whole systems change, large group methods, or group facilitation, these methods and practices have a common focus on collaborative change.

We seek your advice in shaping the most comprehensive publication yet created to make easily accessible this huge and growing body of knowledge and practice.  This 5-volume, 1,500-page publication will bring together over 100 different collaborative change methods—with a full chapter devoted to each method, covering all aspects of the method, including its purpose, principles, process, keys to mastery, applications, technological tools, and theoretical and empirical foundations.  In addition, over 30 other chapters will provide guidance on selecting, applying, and using the methods—and blending them as needed as well as adapting them to unique situations.

This publication will include all of the most widely used collaborative change methods—such as Appreciative Inquiry, Graphic Facilitation, Open Space Technology, Future Search, and World Café—as well as dozens of new and emerging methods that have proven themselves to be highly useful in particular communities but are not yet widely known (and have not appeared in previous compendiums).  All of this knowledge will be available in both print and e-book formats—and also through an app that will provide access to all of this material and include periodic updates of new methods, practices, and applications.  The result will be a living and growing community of knowledge.

This encyclopedic publication will save readers a great deal of time—and make them more productive and effective in their work—by bringing together methods, tools, practices, and approaches that are currently scattered in scores of different books, articles, and websites.
