2021 WSMA Advocacy Survey

As WSMA members, your experiences and input guide our work—simple conversations about the day-to-day challenges of practicing medicine in Washington often act as a springboard for our legislative and regulatory advocacy.

In the 2021 legislative session we parlayed your leadership and guidance into a 100% success rate on WSMA’s priority issues, including securing nearly $300 million for Medicaid reimbursement increases and Foundational Public Health Services, and passing policy bills to continue coverage and payment for audio-only telemedicine services at parity and improving the liability landscape for COVID-19 care.

While the state continues to respond to the pandemic, more opportunities for critical engagement are on the horizon and WSMA needs your feedback on what issues are most pressing to you and your practice so we can represent your interests and communicate with you most effectively going forward.
