In honor of the Village of Riverside's 150th anniversary of incorporation, we invite you to support the 2025 festivities in a way that ensures your place in Riverside's history: The Sesquicentennial Time Capsule project.
For $150, residents can purchase a Time "Caplet" (measuring appx. 10" x 3" x 3") which will be sealed inside a stainless-steel Heritage Time Capsule in December 2025. You can include documents, personal items, and memorabilia telling your story or capturing the spirit of our community. This airtight and watertight Time Capsule will be opened in 75 years, making you a part of Riverside's collective memory and ensuring that future generations can understand the diverse experiences of life in our Village here and now.
