You are being invited to participate in a survey study which will examine knowledge of and attitudes of obstetrical care providers towards trial of labour after caesarean section (TOLAC)/vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC).
This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participants filling out this survey must have an office practice where they see antenatal patients.
What we learn from this survey will help us understand areas requiring further clarification or education regarding eligibility and risks of TOLAC and determine the use and need for standardized decision aids when counselling patients.
Information gathered during this survey will be written up as a scholarly journal article, may be presented at academic conferences, and may be used to improve educational materials about TOLAC and create a TOLAC decision aid.
Completing this study is optional. Completion of the survey implies consent to participate in the study. If you choose not to participate in the study, your employment, professional and/or academic status will not be affected in any way.
