Mentor Tech Mentor Interest Form

Mentor Tech mentors include Texas Tech faculty, staff, alumni, and trained Student Engagement Peer Mentors. You don’t need to be perfect or have all the answers — just a willingness to listen, share your experiences, and support an student as they grow. If you’ve ever faced a challenge, figured out how to ask for help, or learned something the hard way, you have what it takes to be a great mentor.

Great mentors:
-Care about student success and well-being
-Are open to sharing personal experiences and advice
-Know how to listen, ask questions, and encourage growth
-Communicate respectfully and consistently
