At the YMCA swimming pools, Y members and staff alike are challenged when members do not show up for the swimming activity they have reserved and fail to cancel their reservation in advance (a "no show"). When this happens, it prevents the Y from safely offering this pool time to other interested swimmers. A solution that has been recommended to the Y is to charge a "no-show" fee to members that do not cancel their reservations in this manner. Are you in favor of this?
Yes
No, but the Y should do something
