Whitemarsh Township – Comprehensive Recreation, Parks, Open Space, Greenways and Trails Plan

Community-Wide Survey

The Whitemarsh Township Parks and Recreation Department has received grant funding from The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) to complete a Comprehensive Recreation, Parks, Open Space, Greenways and Trails Plan. This plan will serve as a long-term roadmap to guide the future of active and passive parks, recreational programming, land preservation, and connectivity projects such as trails, sidewalks and pathways. The Plan will reflect current facilities, properties, and amenities within the Township. The final Plan will support coordinated action across multiple Township committees and will guide Whitemarsh Township’s efforts in these areas over the next 20 to 25 years. A crucial component of this process is obtaining and integrating input from Whitemarsh Township residents and other patrons of the system. Every Township resident in every household is encouraged to fill out a survey as to how it pertains to them individually. Your input helps us decide how to most prudently allocate our resources. We hope you will share your feedback with us, so that we may continue our efforts to make Whitemarsh Township an even better place to live and work!
