INTRODUCTION: It is an honor for us at the Iowa National Guard Child & Youth Program to serve the youth and their families who live in our state. It is even more of a privilege for us to support these individuals when their loved one is deployed.
In an attempt to maximize our support-driven efforts for future deployments, we are asking the parent, grandparent, or adult caregiver who was at home during a recent deployment to share the stories they experienced during their loved ones absence. We look forward to reading and learning from all you gained and experienced.
DIRECTIONS: Please answer all of the first four questions. You then do not have to answer every bullets in questions 5 through 9. Simply respond to the ones that most apply to you and your family. We also aren't looking for names just stories and experiences.
