The Native CDFI Network invites Native CDFIs, Tribal Nations, Native-led organizations, and Indian Country partners to join a sign-on letter to U.S. Senate leadership requesting $50 million in FY 2027 funding for the CDFI Fund’s Native American CDFI Assistance (NACA) Program.
This request advances one of NCN’s top policy priorities for 2026 and reflects the continued unmet financing needs in Native communities, persistent lack of access to capital across Indian Country, and the strong economic return generated by Native CDFIs through small business lending, homeownership financing, consumer lending, and community development initiatives.
With the Senate Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee expected to mark up the bill in the coming weeks, it is important that Native CDFIs and Indian Country stakeholder and partner organizations make their voices heard.
Please complete this form to authorize your organization to be listed as a signer on the joint letter. You can review a draft of the letter here.
The deadline to sign on is Tuesday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. ET.
