Communications & Outreach Director

The duties of the Communications & Outreach Director are as follows: 
-Oversees the activities of the Communications & Outreach Committee and re ports committee activity to the board and membership.
-Coordinates MNPD's online presence through our website and social media platforms as identified by the Communications & Outreach Committee to support current members.
-Collaborates with the President-Elect and Executive Board to support membership and recruitment activities.
-Represents the organization to the nursing and public community.
1.Amber Kraai:
I have been working in nursing professional development at UMH-West for the last 6.5 years since completing my MSN in Nursing Education. My role predominately focuses on progressive care and cardiac services. In the last 3 years, I have dove further into the development of eLearning and design as it relates to our development of staff. I am currently enrolled at Walden University and working on my M.S. in Instructional Design & Technology. As a part of this program, I have been able to further expand my skills not only in content design and development, but also a number of other tools and resources that would be beneficial in expanding MNPD’s communication and outreach efforts.
