#ItStopsHere: Preventing Street Harassment and Violence in PEI
Women’s Network PEI is conducting an online survey to learn more about Island residents' experience with street harassment and catcalling. This survey is part of a larger project, #ItStopsHere funded by the Interministerial Women’s Secretariat Violence Prevention Grant. You can find out more about our project at – https://www.wnpei.org/It-Stops-Here
This survey is anonymous. It will take about 10 minutes to complete, and it will help us better understand the realities related to street harassment in PEI. If you are interested in getting more involved in the project or have any questions please contact Project Lead Megan Dorrell at megan@wnpei.org or by phone 902-368-5040.
Please note that for the purpose of this survey we define street harassment as the following: harassment is unwanted comments, gestures, and actions forced on a stranger in a public place without their consent and is directed at them because of their actual or perceived sex, gender, gender expression, or sexual orientation. We acknowledge that many definitions of street harassment exist and that it is a broad term that includes a variety of experiences.
Thank you for your time and completing the survey, please contact us if you have any questions!
