City of Irving - Community Needs Survey for HUD Consolidated Plan and Assessment of Fair Housing
During the next 5 years, the City of Irving expects to receive about $16 million in federal funding to support community development activities related to affordable housing, homelessness, and community resilience.
The funding is provided through 3 separate funding sources that are briefly summarized in the graphics below.
In order to ensure that the City's investment of federal funding is guided by community input, the City engages in a community-led planning process every five years. 2023 marks the start of the planning process. The results of the Community Needs Survey will help inform decisions about the city’s investment of federal funding and its efforts to affirmatively further fair housing.
This brief survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
