Introduction

The City of Cockburn is looking to support investment attraction in the local economy through the Invest Cockburn project. The project will assist the City in developing an Economic Development and Investment Strategy to support growth in your sector and the broader local economy.

The City of Cockburn has a rapidly growing population of 122,000 and provides over 52,000 jobs. Cockburn is home to the shipbuilding and maritime industries of Western Australia and the key employment sectors are manufacturing, construction, education, and retail.

This survey has 25 questions and seeks to understand the key considerations for local business investment decisions. The questions are grouped under the following headings:
  • Business information
  • Customer and Supplier information
  • The decision making process
  • The location preferences for your business
  • Investment plans

What does this mean?
