This intermediate level training program will concentrate on the management of the chronic at-risk foot, including footwear and orthotic device provision. The program will be targeted at delegates managing relevant patient profiles (diabetes, vascular, rheumatology & orthopaedics).

The following aspects will be covered on the day:
  • Management principles of the chronic at-risk foot
  • The role of footwear in the chronic at-risk foot
  • Measurement, selection & fitting of stock footwear
  • The role of orthoses in offloading
  • Prescription of custom made devices
The course will include a combination of theory and practical workshop sessions.
