Inishowen Eco-cultural Partnership Project. Further Information and the opportunity to complete our survey.

Background and Context. The Inishowen Eco-Cultural Partnership aims to address areas identified in the Inishowen Peninsula Destination Experience Development Plan (DEDP) by fostering sustainable tourism, preserving cultural heritage and promoting ecological conservation. The Vision of the DEPD is “A destination recognised for our internationally significant marine ecosystem, our distinctive maritime and military heritage, our creative story, and the opportunity to pursue adventure, health, and well-being year-round.”

The partnership aims to bring together diverse stakeholders to collaboratively enhance the regions natural and cultural heritage, contributing to the sustainable growth of local communities across the peninsula, focusing on maintaining and developing the region's natural and cultural heritage through ecotourism and cultural heritage initiatives which will contribute to the sustainable growth of local communities and businesses across the peninsula.

In addition to the consultation workshops we are holding throughout Inishowen, we have prepared a short survey to gather the view of those that are unable to come to a workshop.

The project outputs are:
- An established eco-cultural partnership with governance structures and membership in place.
- Outline of leadership capacity building training to support effective governance of the partnership.
- Identification of potential projects to be undertaken through the partnership.
· A partnership monitoring and evaluation framework with targets and KPIs.

The partnership will cover:
- Sustainable Tourism Development
- Cultural Heritage Preservation
- Ecological Conservation
