Infant feeding during the 2020 COVID19 Pandemic (USA)

* 1. We invite you to participate in a research study being conducted by investigators from Washington University in St. Louis who have experience in studying human lactation and breastfeeding. This study is designed to look at the ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting infant feeding decisions among mothers in the United States. If you are a mother currently breastfeeding, using human milk, or formula feeding an infant under the age of two years in the United States we invite you to participate in this online survey. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Your name/IP address will not be collected; we will ask about your race/ethnicity and state location but individually identifiable information will not be collected. After completing the initial survey, you will be asked to provide an email address for a follow-up study in 6 weeks. If you provide your email address, you will be emailed a study link in 6 weeks. You will also be provided with a summary of the study findings (these will also be made publicly available at anthrolactology.com).

The goals of this study are to better understand the ways in which mothers are making infant feeding decisions during this time. This includes mothers who breastfeed at the breast, who exclusively pump, who use commercial infant formula, who use donor human milk, and/or who are healthcare providers.
