Survey Objectives

This survey asks you to identify the major STRONG AND WEAK POINTS
of specific Industrial Control System (ICS) products that you are familiar with.

These products are either Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or unit/skid control systems that are applied to turbines, compressors, and other types of industrial units.

Suppliers have been working to improve the work processes for engineering, operating, and maintaining a modern control system.  Because of the criticality, complexity, and the many functions performed by these systems, the work processes can be quite involved.   These work processes involve areas such as:

System Planning, sizing, and expansion
Local and remote process I/O configuration
Field device management
Process control configuration
Human-Machine Interface (HMI) configuration
Alarm/Alert configuration
Data historian configuration
Configuration documentation
