About this survey

Parliament’s Standing Committee on Indigenous Affairs is examining the access to, participation in and outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at different types of schools – from remote to regional, independent, boarding, scholarship, community and city schools.

We want to hear the experiences of students, educators, families and communities about what works, what’s important and what we can do better to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with the best education and the best opportunities for their future.

This questionnaire takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and can be anonymous if you wish. You do not have to answer all questions.

The Committee will listen to your ideas about what is working well, what has failed, and what can be done to improve the educational opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The Committee may include some quotes from your responses to this questionnaire in its report to government.
