Info-Sessions are starting this week!!! SHERPA Sustainability Institute is producing the UN SDG Corporate Guidebook Series, 17 hardbound volumes, publishing throughout 2020 by CRC Press. It is important to have a globally balanced representation of case studies and insights - there is much for companies around the world to learn from India!
Headquartered in the state of Colorado, in the Southwest United States, we have been mindful of the need to present a global view of how businesses can move the world towards achieving the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
India is a critically important country to be represented in the series, since CSR is clearly a national imperative. We are seeking to better understand NITI Aayog, 2013 Companies Act and other aspects of India’s commitment to CSR/Sustainability. The establishment of ISO 26000 as a national standard in India is also of great interest.
Opportunities to contribute to the series include researchers, writers and case studies from companies. Both successes and challenges. We need to share lessons learned and course corrections - not just polished, edited PR.
We will also be starting an Info-Session Series soon Focused on India. In order to schedule the Info-Sessions, we'd like to get some feedback on availability... This brief survey should take less than 15 minutes.
