Curriculum and Homeroom Survey - Incoming FOURTH Grade 2020-2021 |
St. Junipero Serra Catholic School
Dear Parents of Incoming Fourth Grade Students,
As we continue to partner with you to provide a high-quality Catholic education for your child, we are pleased to share with you our survey for the 2020-2021 academic year. Learning more about your child's personality and learning style will better ensure proper homeroom placement by our educational team. Gathering additional information regarding your past curriculum experiences will help us to tailor our plan for academic excellence for all students. Thank you for taking time to complete this information about your student.
Grade Level Considerations:
Please note, in fourth grade the students are in homeroom at the beginning and end of the school day. These students will be in the homeroom classroom for religion and social studies or science. They are mixed by ability for language arts class and math class and may have one of six different teachers for these classes. These students will also have other grade level teachers who provide instruction for social studies, science, and their specialty classes.
Balance of Needs & Numbers:
Please know that due to the diverse learning needs found within every grade level at St. Junipero Serra Catholic, one of our placement objectives is to balance the homerooms with a variety of students with various learning abilities, behavioral, and organizational needs.
