* 7. In low-speed potential flow, the velocity field can be found without knowing anything about the pressure. Is this true? If so, why, and how would you find the velocity field and then find the pressure field? If it is not true, how would you find the pressure and velocity fields?

* 8. Of the 4 basic types of fluid motion, which types can exist in a steady incompressible potential flow? Why? (can you prove this?)

* 10. A hurricane with a maximum sustained wind speed of 150mph, and an eye diameter of 20km, is located 200km to the north and 50 km to the east of Aerodynamixville. Estimate using potential flow theory, the steady wind speed and direction that may be felt at Aerodynamixville at that time.

(If the eye diameter were to suddenly increase to 30km, what would the new speed and direction of the wind at A'ville be? And this you can ponder, but the answer is not very sensible: how long will it take for this change to be felt at A'ville?)
