About this self-assessment tool
Purpose of this tool
This self-assessment tool has been designed by Inclusion Ready, a project from the Community Services Industry Alliance. Inclusion Ready aims to improve the capacity and capability of Queensland organisations to deliver projects that make it easier for people with disability to be included and thrive in their communities and mainstream services.
In particular, it aims to support organisations to be ready to identify and to take advantage of business opportunities that will arise within the NDIS through the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) program.
The benefits of using this tool
The tool contains many links to information and resources that might help you in your thinking and planning around inclusion and potential ILC grants. This tool has been designed for your own internal use and does not form part of the application process, which is conducted by the National Disability Insurance Agency. Therefore nothing you write in the tool will in any way affect your application if you choose to go ahead with submitting one. Information from collated responses will be used by CSIA to identify where additional resources might be needed to support organisations to become Inclusion Ready, as well as to inform evaluation activities.

- be more prepared to put together an application for an ILC program, or to identify whether there may be alternative ways of delivering an inclusion project
- give your project idea and your grant application the best chance of being successful
- find the information and support that you might need to put together a project plan and/or application.
