EPA Risk Management Program (RMP)

The Risk Management Program (RMP) Rule requires facilities that use or store extremely hazardous substances to develop a Risk Management Plan. These plans must be revised and resubmitted to EPA every five years.

EPA has developed guidance to assist the regulated community in understanding the Risk Management Program (RMP) rule, including Risk Management Program Guidance for Warehouses.
