International University Representatives Application Form

This application is open to FLEX/YES alumni currently studying at an international university in a country where American Councils does not have a FLEX or YES Alumni Coordinator. Apply by 11:59 PM on September 22, 2024.
An IUR is a volunteer who stays connected with FLEX/YES alumni at their university and organizes community activities. They also collaborate with non-alumni or international students.

Responsibilities:
- Attend a two-hour virtual onboarding on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11 AM EDT.
- Organize one event per month.
- Report the event within four days.
- Request a budget for events if needed.
- Submit financial reports when applicable.
- Share alumni success stories.

The term will run from October 2024 to June 2025.

International University Representatives help connect over 29,000 FLEX and 13,000 YES alumni worldwide with the Alumni Program. IURs work with Senior Program Officer Aknur Berdigulova to organize and report on alumni activities monthly. They communicate regularly with Aknur, providing updates on alumni activities and encouraging participation in community service, professional development, and American studies events.

Note: The approved amount will be distributed as a grant to the selected IUR. The IUR will be responsible for providing appropriate documentation to report on the use of these funds. For alumni whose bank cards from certain countries are not eligible for direct fund transfers, payments may be made via PayPal.
