CALHN Mental Health Clinical Program (MHCP)
The CALHN MHCP Inpatient Rehabilitation Services (IRS) Model of Care v2.0 sets out the service model that guides the delivery of specialist inpatient mental health rehabilitation at IRS.
The purpose of the Model of Care is to provide staff with a framework within which to work to deliver high quality evidence-based interventions and approaches to individuals referred to IRS.
This model of care is based on research and the core values of recovery and social inclusion.
The document was developed subsequent to the IRS Review, April 2019 (Keppich-Arnold, Pascu & Moseley). A key recommendation from this review was the development of a new model of care aligned to best contemporary practice.
