This training equips Pennsylvania court interpreters to navigate domestic violence (DV) and sexual assault (SA) cases by building foundational knowledge of abuse dynamics, trauma impacts, and victim-centered interpretation strategies. Participants explore ethical considerations in DV/SA settings, address communication and emotional barriers to effective interpretation, and learn trauma-sensitive techniques to support victim safety and stabilization.

Programming led by the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence.
