Eligibility

The International Public Safety Association was created in 2014 - approximately eight years ago. We are looking ahead to where we want to be at our 10-year anniversary

To do this effectively, we recognize we need input from a core group of our loyal and valued members. Therefore, we are creating a new Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors through 2023.

This committee will meet quarterly with the Board of Directors to discuss the IPSA's progress, it's challenges and areas we can improve. It's a great opportunity for our members to have a voice in our strategic direction, discuss matters with our Board of Directors and participate in membership outreach and engagements.

Each seat is a volunteer, yet highly visible leadership position and has a term of just over one calendar year (expires 12/31/2023). We will include your name, photo and bio on our website. The level of effort will not exceed 10 hours per month.

All applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Associate or Active-Level Membership
  2. Participate in four to six remote meetings (to be scheduled)
  3. Participate in working groups (as assigned) on small projects
  4. Provide strategic guidance on key organizational issues
