IOGA Voting Survey Overview
We invite all voting members in good standing to participate in a crucial decision-making process. This survey allows you to vote on three significant Membership Resolutions, which, if passed, will significantly influence IOGA's policy and direction, impacting our operations and community standing.

- Outfitted Hunter Allocated Tag Amendment Resolution - 2023
- Hells Canyon Dam Snake River Flows Resolution - 2023
- Trapping with Outfitted Hunters Resolution - 2023
Voting Process:
- Each voting member is entitled to a single vote (Yea or Nay) per resolution.
- Per IOGA Organizational Bylaws, when a “Mail Vote” is implemented to achieve a Membership wide opinion the voting information provided must include:
- (1) actual vote count from meeting, (Note: At the '23 Meeting, all three resolutions were moved with unanimous support to be distributed to the full membership for vote.)
- (2) the Resolution(s) (Note: each resolution is linked to on the following pages as well as the January 2024 Newsletter.)
- (3) Committee(s) comments, and may also include
- (4) Author(s), Section and/or Membership comments as well as any other pertinent information
The outcomes of these resolutions will be decided by a simple majority of remote votes.
Importance of Your Vote:
- Passed resolutions become IOGA's official position, guiding staff and the Board of Directors;
- Passing a resolution may redirect significant organizational resources and have political implications. This applies to at least one of the resolutions.
- As such, we urge you to carefully weigh, discuss, and fully consider the implications of each resolution before casting your vote.
