Please follow the following instructions when creating your budget:
• The budget should clearly outline both the funds requested from Idaho NASA EPSCoR as well as the matching funds and their source.
• Funding for a collaboration grant requires a non-federal cash or in-kind match equal to the amount requested from Idaho NASA EPSCoR. The Idaho NASA EPSCoR contribution is limited to $3,500. Although the minimum amount of cost share is 1:1, any additional cost share above that amount is welcomed.
• Idaho NASA EPSCoR funding cannot be used for food, international travel, marketing materials, or capital outlay (equipment). Although food is not allowed, per diem is allowed.
• Indirect costs for higher education institutions are limited to the federally negotiated rate of the institution.

Special note for applicants from institutions of higher education:
You must include whatever overhead costs your institution charges in your budget (i.e., within the $2500 maximum request). Please check with your OSP, or equivalent office, to determine how much you need to budget for overhead.
