We are interested in learning more about what you would think about a hypothetical coronavirus vaccine, about social distancing measures, about what you would think about the perceived risk of getting infected by the virus and some aspects about the vaccines in general. If you agree to be part of the research study, you will be asked to complete a survey. This will take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Benefits of the research You may not receive any personal benefits from being in this study. However, others may benefit from the knowledge gained from this study.
Risks and discomforts The main risk associated with this study would be loss of confidentiality – where someone would be able to identify you and discover how you responded. We will protect the confidentiality of your research records by uploading the data to a password-protected folder. Your name and any other information that can directly identify you will not be collected as part of the project.
Compensation You will not receive compensation from the researchers. Participating in this study is completely voluntary. Even if you decide to participate now, you may change your mind and stop at any time. You may choose not to answer any survey question, or continue with the interview for any reason. Information collected in this project may be shared with other researchers and will be uploaded to a publicly accessible database, but we will not share any information that could identify you.
