IMLA will be filing an amicus brief in Grants Pass v. Johnson, an important homelessness case that the Supreme Court will decide this term.  The question presented is whether the enforcement of generally applicable laws regarding camping on public property constitutes “cruel and unusual punishment” prohibited by the Eighth Amendment.
