Internationalization of Hispanic Businesses (IHCCV1)

Welcome to this Survey

The purpose of this online study is to better understand why and how Hispanic-owned/Latino businesses in Illinois become international. There are no right and wrong answers to the questions. The questions are primarily yes/no. Some questions ask you to provide a date when your company began doing something. Other questions ask you to simply state whether you agree or disagree with a statement. At the survey's end, there are a few, basic demographic questions about your business.

Some companies will have little or no international involvement, while others will have extensive international involvement. We need to hear from companies across this entire spectrum, so please respond no matter what your level of involvement may be.

You may choose to take the questionnaire or not. If you choose to take it, you may stop at any time without consequence. You do not need to answer every question. The data collected will be analyzed in the aggregate. Results will help provide insights into services that will support Hispanic-owned businesses wanting to become more international. The aggregate responses also may be used in academic papers that will assist professors better understand the process of internationalization on Hispanic-owned businesses.

Your survey answers will be sent to a link at surveymonkey.com where data will be stored in a password protected electronic format. surveymonkey.com does not collect identifying information such as your name, email address, or IP address. Therefore, your responses will remain anonymous. No one will be able to identify you or your answers, and no one will know whether or not you participated in the study.

There will also be opportunities for you to explain what you think more fully. For those questions, the more detail you can provide the more useful your response will be. However, we appreciate whatever information you care to provide. Approximate answers are fine for our purposes.
