Application Deadline: April 17, 2020

The IEEE Photonics Society established a student travel grant program to encourage student participation at the IEEE Group IV Photonics Conference (IEEE GFP), taking place August 26-28 in Malaga, Spain.  

The IEEE Photonics Society is awarding a select number of student members with $2,500 USD grants each. The grant funds are intended to be used for travel, lodging expenses and registration to the conference.

An applicant should be:
  1. A full time degree-seeking student, i.e. undergrad, graduate, or Post Doctoral candidate.
  2. An IEEE Photonics Society member.
  3. Sponsored by an advisor or professor.
Recipients will be notified via email approximately 2 weeks after the application deadline.
