TechSpark Academy's mission is to allow students to gain critical insight into how the digital world is conceived and developed.
We bring our courses to life by working with young ETHZ instructors with exceptional knowledge and motivation.
This October we will be offering the following courses:
1. Adventures in Programming with Scratch - Age 8 - 12 “Explore programming with MIT language designed for junior coders.” Introduce your child to power of code with SCRATCH! Create interactive stories, games, and animations while learning coding fundamentals.
2. Build your own Digital Game or App with Python - Age 11+ “Easily pick-up a powerful and fast computer language” Students are introduced to computer programming using one of the most popular professional programing languages on the market. Python is easy to pick up, whether a student is a first-time programmer or experienced with other languages.
3. Cyber Awareness: Hacking & Defence - Age 12+ “Discover the world of cyber security and what lies behind hacking” Ever wondered what hackers really do? Any idea how to defend yourself? Learn all about what lies beneath the Internet, from attack analysis, to safety and security.
4. Digital Photography and Film with Adobe - Age 11+ “Use your camera and computer to make digital art and movies” Who said art and technology couldn't blend? Unleash your artistic abilities by learning how to use your camera and computer to make digital art and movies!
