Welcome to the International Curling Centre of Excellence Survey

The Manitoba government has committed $15 million toward the creation of the International Curling Centre of Excellence (ICCE), with a goal of developing a self-sustaining, year round curling facility capable of hosting major events and training at all levels. The facility will support training from grassroots to elite levels, education, and overall science of the sport of curling. The current phase of the project is the creation of a comprehensive business plan, developed in partnership with MNP Consulting Services, to guide the future construction and operation of the facility.

The facility will be located in Winnipeg, but the site, architecture, and operational plan are still in the planning stage with the business plan providing a basis for facility requirements and amenity recommendations. As a valued member of the curling community your input is vital in this process to ensure the facility prioritizes the needs of curlers at all levels. The enclosed engagement survey focuses on athletes and coaches and asks several questions regarding your training habits and wishes for a new training facility. It should only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete, and we ask that your survey be submitted by the end of February, 2021.
