HELP CREATE AN AMBITIOUS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR HUU-AY-AHT FIRST NATION
What if we could achieve the exceptional as a Nation? What kind of community do we want to leave behind for our children and grandchildren? Huu-ay-aht First Nation is creating an Economic Development Plan that aims to answer these questions.

Our Economic Development Plan will talk about both job creation, and enabling community development – from housing to infrastructure. With a deep connection to the land and a strong commitment to sustainable development, the Huu-ay-aht First Nation has a reputation of forward -thinking community that balances economic growth with environmental stewardship.

As the region's economic, recreational, and cultural hub, the Huu-ay-aht territory hosts a diversified economy with multiple opportunities. Bamfield and the Nations Village of Anacla, on the western coast of Vancouver island are launching points for growth in natural asset based tourism, fisheries, aquaculture, forestry, clean energy, construction and housing - becoming an exceptional place to live, raise a family, and have meaningful work for the Nations Citizens.
