The Committee’s work is guided by a clear strategic intent:
What are the community and stakeholder perspectives regarding the current start and end times, and what, if any, feasible, practical, and desirable future actions make sense to consider moving forward?
This process is designed to support disciplined inquiry and thoughtful analysis of the district’s current schedule.
All input will be considered through three primary lenses:
· Feasibility – operational, contractual, transportation, and fiscal realities
· Practicality – implementation considerations, system capacity, and educational impact
· Desirability – stakeholder experiences, student implications, and perceived benefits or concerns
Consistent with the Committee’s charter, this work is student-centered, grounded in transparency, and not intended to advance any predetermined outcome.
