All parents/guardians are welcome!
Presentation content is most relevant to those with children in grades K-5.
The last three years have been filled with unique stressors and obstacles to children’s interactions with peers and adults. Anxious feelings are a natural reaction to these and other stressors. Parents and children can learn how to respond to anxious feelings in ways that reduce the intensity and frequency of those feelings.
This presentation will focus on skills you can share with your children:
How to calm physical reactions to distress
What to say when responding to children’s anxiety
Daily practices to build resilient responses to stress
Speaker: Michelle Clark, M.S.Ed., LCPC, NCC is TriCity Family Services’ Director of Emotional Wellness Programs, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and Parent
