History Fund Survey of Intent: Introduction

Thank you for your interest in the History Fund. This matching grants program is being funded by voluntary donations from Ohio taxpayers, who primarily give via their Ohio income tax refund forms. The History Fund continues to grow as income tax forms arrive, but we already have about $110,000 to grant across Ohio this year!

Be watching for the full application form and instructions later this summer. To help you begin thinking about projects, budgets and matching sources and to help us gage interest in the program and project types, please take a few minutes to complete our brief Letter of Intent form. It is not required of all applicants, but we request that you help us to gage interest in the History Fund. Your responses will also allow us to provide you further assistance with your application.

The History Fund is administered by the Ohio Historical Society with input and support from a host of partner organizations. We would especially like to thank the following for their efforts to serve as an advisory group:

*Bremen Area Historical Society
*Heritage Ohio
*Ohio Archaeological Council
*Ohio Arts Council
*Ohio Historical Records Advisory Board
*Ohio Genealogical Society
*Ohio Humanities Council
