Welcome

At Norton, we have heard from many faculty that the rise of generative AI has affected their teaching in significant ways. We are committed to helping history students and instructors navigate this new landscape, whether they embrace the new technology, aim to resist it, or fall somewhere in between.

After consulting with pedagogy and AI experts, our goal is to equip instructors with the tools they need for AI-aware teaching: understanding how the technology impacts course goals, assignments, and students so that instructors can adapt with confidence.

In this brief survey, we would like your feedback on several tools and strategies we are evaluating that we hope will help equip instructors to teach "AI-aware" courses.
