Welcome and About This Survey

Hexagon Housing Association (“Hexagon” / “the Authority”) is a registered provider of social housing managing approximately 4,500 homes across South London and Kent. Hexagon is undertaking this “Soft Market Test” to help define its procurement requirements and to understand current market capacity and best practice, ahead of procuring SME and specialist contractors to deliver specialist, excluded and overflow repairs that supplement its principal repairs contract.

In particular, Hexagon wishes to understand the market’s views on:

• Lotting and packaging of the “Works”;
• The preferred “Delivery Model” and contract duration;
• The preferred “Form of Contract” and appetite for collaborative working;
• Pricing and cost-reimbursement mechanisms; and
• Social value and added value.

Respondents should note that the survey should take around 15–20 minutes to complete. You may return to the survey at any time, though information saved will be unique to the device and IP address you start the survey on; you are therefore advised, wherever possible, to complete it in one browser session.

We would like to assure you that the information provided in this survey will be treated in the strictest of confidence. Individual comments and opinions will only be taken into consideration as part of assisting the Authority to develop an appropriate procurement strategy, and will not be considered as part of any future procurement activity.

This is a market engagement exercise only and does not constitute a call for competition; taking part will not prejudice any future tender.
