Her Power! Transracial Adoptee and Foster Care Youth Lounges for Teen Girls with Disabilities

Her Power! is hosting two free summer programs for teen girls with disabilities in Michigan who are young women of color who have been adopted or in foster care with white parents. Teens who register for this event will meet three times with Angela Tucker. Please note this opportunity is free, and only available to 12 teen girls with disabilities in Michigan. We ask you only complete the below registration if you can fully participate in all three sessions. We will only be accepting the first 12 people registered.

* 9. In addition to these opportunities to discuss the lounges Michigan Disability Rights Coalition's Her Power! Staff will call every registered particpants parent or guardian to discuss the event. We will answer any questions the teen or parent/guardian have about the programing. We will also discuss any accommodations the teen may need to fully participate virtually. This includes helping connect youth to technology to participate an internet if not currently available.
