The Department of Health will be surveying all staff in October on a proposal to use a determination under the Public Service Act as an alternative to negotiating pay and conditions under an enterprise agreement.

The CPSU wants to hear from Health staff ahead of the Department’s ballot in October. 

We know that people are fed up with broken bargaining rules, and if members would prefer to opt for a determination with no cuts to conditions, that is the members’ decision to make. 

We believe that members should have a real say on their rights, pay and conditions. It is members’ choice what happens. If members tell us you want to bargain, we will back that decision.
