2025 SIEDC Health & Wellness Expo - Unsung Community Health Hero Nomination Deadline: October 19, 2025

What is a hero? Be it a frontline worker, or a person who changes lives behind the scenes, we want to hear about these individuals' invaluable impact on our community!
At the 2025 Health & Wellness Expo, the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) will be honoring several Unsung Community Health Heroes that champion worthy causes and go beyond the call of duty to provide critical support to Staten Islanders in need.
Nomination Criteria:
1) The nominee must work on Staten Island
2) The nominee must have a demonstrable record of contributing directly to improving the health and well-being of Staten Islanders
3) The nominee must embody heroic characteristics, putting the wellness of others before themselves
4) The nominee must not have received the award in the past
5) The nominee must be able to attend the Annual Health & Wellness Expo on November 21, 2025 at the College of Staten Island to receive the award
