Consumer Leader
This award celebrates the longstanding and extraordinary contributions of a consumer who has collaborated with health services to help inform the way care is delivered to better meet the needs of the consumer.

This category is for consumer, carer, community, family or lived experience representatives demonstrating excellence in speaking up for the importance of a kind, person-centred health care system. The award recognises consumer representatives who have made an ongoing commitment to positive partnership with our health system to improve the experience of people who use health services. Their dedication, guidance and encouragement is an inspiration to those new to consumer representation, and they demonstrate tenacity, creativity, innovation, and leadership through their impact on WA health services.

Emerging Consumer
This award is for those making great strides forward as they begin their journey as a health consumer representative, bringing curiosity and a fresh perspective as they work to improve outcomes for health consumers across WA.

This category is for consumer, carer, community, family or lived experience representatives demonstrating excellence in speaking up for the importance of a kind, person-centred health care system. The award recognises consumer representatives who have been actively involved in improving the patient experience by informing, providing feedback and collaborating with health services, for two years or less. 

Young Achiever:
This award honours and recognises the achievement of young Western Australians under 25 years of age, who demonstrate a commitment to improving health care by speaking up for the importance of a kind, person-centred health care system. 

This category is for health consumer representatives under the age of 25 who provide feedback, inform, collaborate and partner with health services to ensure the care delivered better meets consumer needs and preferences, improving the patient experience.
