Health care is becoming more expensive and many Minnesotans are experiencing the impact. Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress ended valuable tax credits that helped keep insurance premiums more affordable, and as a result, next year they are set to spike by as much as 50%. These rapid increases are hitting farmers, small business owners, and older adults the hardest at a time we're already facing an affordability crisis, with rising prices for food, energy, housing, and more. The GOP also enacted sweeping cuts to Medicaid, putting some of the most vulnerable among us at risk of losing health care coverage.
