The Code Assessment is a key step in Hayden’s Development Code Update, a core component of the Hayden Resiliency Project, which involves updating the Town’s existing zoning and subdivision regulations. The Code Assessment evaluates the current Development Code (Title 10 of the Municipal Code) in the context of the goals and policies of the Hayden Forward Master Plan, local experience, staff feedback, and modern best practices, and recommends changes to the regulations that would best enable Hayden to meet its land-use goals.
The Code Assessment serves as a roadmap for drafting new development regulations. Before the updated Development Code is written, we want to hear from you! Your feedback about the Code Assessment is important to the success of Hayden’s Development Code Update and the larger Hayden Resiliency Project.
