2022 Legislative Session - Voice of Business - Minimum Wage Survey

With the legislative session opening on January 19th, we saw several bills introduced that would affect the way businesses in Hawaii operate. One topic of note that was introduced in both the House and the Senate was a bill to raise the state’s minimum wage. The bill that we want your feedback on increased the minimum wage to $12.00 per hour beginning January 1, 2023; and went all the way to $18.00 per hour beginning January 1, 2026.

To be able to best share the opinions of businesses throughout the state, we ask you to participate in our brief 12 question survey (takes approximately 3 minutes) to help us gather the necessary data to share the voice of the business community to lawmakers this legislative session. This data will be used in our public testimonies on the bills in committee, as well as when our organizations give statements to the media. Your participation in this survey is crucial for our strategy to continue to grow Hawaii’s economy and to make sure your businesses can thrive.
