Introduction

The Town of Cape Elizabeth last conducted a major review of its harbors and public access to the shore in the late 1980’s with nearly 30 years having passed since the last review of how our coastal water resources are serving our fishing, aquaculture and recreational needs. An ad hoc Harbors Committee was formed in December 2016 to review and update information from that period and to provide recommendations for public access, mooring availability and other areas related to Cape Elizabeth coastal waters. This information along with the other work of the Committee will be compiled into a report that will be sent to the Council for further consideration.

This brief survey is intended to solicit your valuable input as support for the Harbor Committee’s work this year.
